4 Day Accredited Mediation Skills Training
This four-day, Institute of Leadership-approved course provides practical training in workplace mediation and conflict resolution. It equips participants with core and advanced mediation skills, including active listening, impartiality, rapport building, and managing difficult conversations.
The training covers the full mediation process—from initial contact through to resolution and review—helping attendees understand conflict dynamics and develop the confidence to facilitate constructive outcomes.
Designed for professionals who manage conflict (e.g. HR, managers, police, housing and social care staff), the course focuses on real-life scenarios using role plays, group work, and practical exercises.
Participants must attend all four days (delivered over two weeks) and complete an assessed mediation session to achieve accreditation.
Additional benefits include ongoing support and supervision, a certificate of achievement, and one-year Institute of Leadership membership.
