North West Employers and the Manchester Stress Institute are committed to supporting staff health and wellness and are delighted to offer this unique opportunity to your teams. ‘One in Ten’ offers teams of 10 the ultimate health changing experience; to be coached over a six week period by stress and nutrition expert Jeannette Jackson and Performance Psychologist Martin Robert Hall to positively change your own and your team’s health and wellness. It’s a unique opportunity to change ingrained habits and patterns around food and lifestyle that will help you to lose weight, reduce blood pressure, lower cholesterol, combat depression, sleep better, feel fitter and look fantastic!
One in Ten is a six week 1-2-1 transformation programme for teams looking to boost staff morale, improve productivity and support mental and emotional wellbeing at work. It offers amazing transformation for each individual and collectively as a team.
Week One- Nutrition: High energy breakfasts to help you feel fuller for longer. Helping to kick start the body and prepare it to release toxins and boost energy.
Week Two- Energy: Anti-inflammatory foods to reduce build up of homocysteine. Simple, nutritious, quick and easy foods to take with you and stave off energy dips.
Week Three- Mood: Foods that help to reduce stress, boost mood & replenish the adrenal glands. Adrenal exhaustion & raised cortisol levels are the key factors in depression & anxiety.
Week Four- Fitness: Improving skin tone is fundamental to the 1/10 programme. You want to see the results of your hard work in your face, hair and nails.
Week Five- Sleep: Helping to reset the body’s natural sleep/wake cycle so you fall asleep easily and wake up refreshed. Focus on calming and nurturing foods today to enable you to fall naturally.
Week Six- Hydration: Dehydration causes inflammation to joints, headaches and chronic fatique. Food that support hydration and elimination also help to reduce inflammation.
