Following the huge success of the last year’s annual conference, we are now in the process of designing this year’s, which will be held at Farington Lodge, Preston on Thursday, 7th of March 2024 – please save the date in your calendar, now!

This year’s conference focus will be on ‘How Progressive Employment Practices Can Support Local Government Systems, Culture and Change’. The day will be a mix of speaker and group input with the valuable opportunity to network with peers and mingle around the various breakout sessions.

This years conference highlights how progressive employment practices can support local government and will cover key themes such as:

  • Equality, diversity and inclusion, along with the launch of the new North West EDI Charter.
  • 21st Century Public Servant Updates.
  • Psychological Safety.
  • Transformational change and systems leadership – integrated care partnership

    Evidenced-Based Practice
    Leadership Through Large Scale Change

With experts in their field contributing across the conference, this is a great opportunity to delve into what support is available for your local authority to flourish.

Cancellation Fee…

Due to limited numbers for the day there will be a small cancellation charge of £50 if you don’t cancel your place within 1 week of the Event. Substitutions can be sent free of charge on the day, please notify us of these via email to events@nwemployers.org.uk.
