This will be a follow-on to Creative Training Design – Metaphor and Story, but prior attendance on that course is not essential.
By the end of the day, participants will be able to:
- Explain the benefits of using competitive and fun games in the training room.
- List the key elements of successful training game design.
- Identify ways to bring movement and energy into the classroom.
- Practice designing an innovative training game.
- Use creative games to break the ice, energise a room or review learning.
This will be another fast-paced day with a competitive edge. Participants will learn the importance of training that is interactive, fun and effective. By the end of the day, they’ll be able to identify and design games that create powerful learning experiences.
The day will once again showcase some of Trainers’ Library’s innovative training games and activities and give trainers loads of ideas, tools and techniques that they’ll be able to immediately apply even without a Trainers’ Library membership.
A whole range of gaming styles will be exhibited, including board games, quizzes and simple, interactive energisers, icebreakers and review activities
that participants will remember long after the training has ended.
