Being more connected than ever in the digital age has enabled us to share information across boundaries, sharing our stories and creating new ones.
How do we make ours have impact?
Strong storytelling turns messages into powerful narratives creating impact and involvement, they have the power to motivate and influence others . Storytelling is a core skill for leaders developing a authentic presence and connecting to other people.
At the recent #LeadingGM programme, the delegates took part in a Dinner with a Difference, working in community outreach programmes. The morning after they took the stage and told stories of the individuals and communities they had interacted with. The ability to tell authentic stories and connect head with heart, created powerful ambition within the room, to achieve even more for their communities.
Cormac Russell of Nurture Development discusses how stories can make the invisible visible for communities. Storytelling that is ‘treasured not measured’, allows us to build relationships, connect with support and create different conversations. Read HERE how Cormac believes stories build trust.
